How do I add products to my store using Mothership Connect?

Prerequisites

This article assumes you have connected to a drop ship supplier using Mothership Connect for Shopify. If you have not done so, please consult one of the following tutorials before proceeding:

Adding products

First, you'll need to navigate to the dropship supplier's configuration page in Mothership. To do so, click on the Mothership drop down menu in the menu bar and select Suppliers. Next, click on 'Manage' link next to the supplier's name on the subsequent page. Once you're on the supplier's configuration page, click on the purple 'Manage Product & Collection Imports' button as seen in the image below.  

Next, you'll be taken to a page where you can browse through all of the products and collections the supplier has to offer through Mothership as seen in the image below.

To import all of the products in the supplier's product catalog, click on the purple 'Import All Products' button at the top of the page. To import the product directly, click on the Import link on the right side of the product listing. Alternatively, to view more information about a product, click on the product's title and you'll be taken to a page similar to the one below. 

Here you can preview the product information that will be imported into your store. To import the product, click on the purple 'Import Product' button.

There is a slight delay built into the product import process. At a minimum, you will need to wait about 30 seconds before you see the product in your Shopify product catalog. Since Shopify rate limits the frequency with which apps can communicate with their API, this process may take slightly longer if you are in the process of importing a large number of products at the same time. Products are imported in the background and are hidden by default. You will need to publish the product if you want to make it visible in your store. 

To remove a product from your store, click on the red "Remove from your store" button similar to the one found in the image below.
